i have two beardies, and i am nuts about them. they crack me up daily. always doing something new.
my male is a year now, some sort of yellow variety, but very pretty. the female i have is small, and stumpy, missing a tail.
i keep them separated of course.
they do however see eachother now and then, when im cleaning cages, doing baths etc. today i got to see some seriously funny showing off from my male, and my baby girl sat safely in her cage looking completely unimpressed.

i would have expected her to wave or something, but she didnt seem to give a fig about him flexing his muscles for her.

what kind of behavior do yall get to see?
do you find it as entertaining as i do?

take care
michelle

Mine is a freak as well! He think he is all that, and if you don't pay attention to him he starts freaken out. It's almost like he is saying hey look at me damn it! :)

By they way WELCOME!

I dont even know if i would ever breed them.
I suspect my male has a different plan...and is plotting this very moment. :D

I just have the one so far. She is wonderful. At times, she can be very animated. I take her to the lake with me during the summer. She sits on my shoulder and "shows off".

my male waved when he was a baby and so I've wiggled my pointer back to him every since...he doesn't do it anymore, but I still do like from the couch....
he'll be basking under his light sometimes and then just leap off and start running back and forth along the glass...if I start talking to him though (lyle lyle little guy)...he snaps out of it and stops and looks at me...sometimes he goes back to running, sometimes not, sometimes leaps back up on his stairs under the light...
he doesn't seem like a show off, but he's not one that really just stays put...when cleaning his cage today he ran from shoulder to shoulder and down my back a couple times
