very nice close up pics
I find the bronx zoo lacking a lot in terms of animals and scenery...their gorilla, tiger and rainforest exhibits are great but otherwise I feel it lacks a lot...to me, they don't seem to have a reptile collection that really stands out...my choices there that I like are the lace monitors, green tree monitor, frilled dragon and caimans...the burmese and retics there are huge and I'd love to see them eat...only one I look at in awe though was the king cobra when it was standing and moving about

At least in Chicago, we got 2 zoos...Lincoln Park & Brookfield. Although the latter has an entire building devoted to reps, with 2 of my favs....a king cobra and a eyelash viper! Super kewl pics Mark.

You know, I can't remember the exact number. Denver Zoo has the world's largest indoor Komodo exhibit. I think they still have all the babies that hatched (four or six), plus two or three large adults. I got to see the babies at just over a month old :D :) . If I can find the time, I'll look for the pics of the newborns...

Denver Zoo is nice...I went there when I was working in Denver Temporarily...
My brother got one of the monkeys jerking off on video...
No poo flinging...but there was a HUGE crowd of people...pretty good stuff.
Great zoo...compact enough to get around...with good exhibits.
Brookfield in Chicago is a MUST see...Lincoln Park is good as well.

Compared to our local Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Denver Zoo is awesome.
Busch Gardens, Tampa is really nice too, if you want to see an impressive array of animals.
There's a little place in Panama City Beach, Florida called Zoo World that has quite a few interesting animals smack dab in the middle of town. Kinda cool.
