Best of luck Scott. My incubator is stabilized and waiting for them :-) Remember, I have a full upright fridge/freezer incubator that needs to be filled!
(Let me know if you need a loaner hovabator)

Mark, did you rip the guts out (the vapor phase change) and seal it back up? How do you control the temps? with a thermostat?

I gutted enough of it to get rid of the heavy stuff. The fridge portion is heated with two 12" sections of 11" wide heat tape, connected to a thermostat. The freezer portion is heated with a 24" zoo-med under tank heater (just laying on the bottom of the freezer). It is controlled by a separate thermostat.
The fridge/freezer unit was ideal for us, since we incubate a lot of different eggs. We keep the fridge portion at 89 degrees for python eggs and gecko eggs incubated for males. The freezer portion is set at 80 degrees right now, for crested gecko eggs, gargoyle gecko eggs, and other gecko eggs incubated for females.
As soon as we have bearded dragon and monitor eggs again, we'll be moving all the 80 degree eggs elsewhere, and bumping the freezer up to 85 degrees.
Sucks having so many different species to incubate... But at the same time - we're fortunate that we only have to deal with three temperatures.
