I had tried to scent a weanling rat to smell like a mouse and get my ball python to eat it. She is pretty smart and didn't take the bait. My boa just ate yesterday, but sometimes she gets things that would go to waste. So I thought I would toss in a rat weanling into my c. boa cage instead of taking her out to the container I feed her in. Big mistake. As I thought let go of the rat and the signal was passing from my brain to my hand she already took ahold of the rat and my thumb in like .001 seconds. :oops: I jerked so let the bleeding begin. Stupid...Stupid...Stupid me. Though I would share so no one else decides to take short cuts.
