Got this for my wife for Christmas a few years back.... charming animal, it wanted to kill her!

Needless to say she was NOT impressed with the love I showed for her in this gift!

yeah...they're beautiful...shame...I'd love one...but I don't want it always biting and not trustable around kids...only want snakes that I feel comfortable with telling ppl that they don't bite

Gorgeous snake...

I would love some of the arboreals...but they all seem to have a reputation for being unfriendly (to say the least)...they are BEAUTIFUL...but if I want something that just sits around and looks pretty...I'll hire a stripper.

i've got a cooks tree boa that's pretty tame. when she was born she would only bite when someone was pulling her off her branch and not at all after she'd been picked up. after lots of handling and being caught twice after escapes, she doesnt even bite anymore, just pull into a defensive stance. its pretty uncommon, but you can hand pick calm aboreals
