looking for a tortoise for a x mass any ideas would be helpful.I been into snakes about a year and now my 10 yr old wants a tort Thanks

Heya..it depends ewhat type of tortoise your looking for.
for your 10 yr old you say!
if its the first time in your child and your life then for begginers a horsefield or hermanns are great for begginers they are pretty easy to look after...and they only grow to about 6 to 10 inches male and 8 inches to 12 inches female...

or if you are looking for something way bigger sulcatas are big tortoises...star tortoises grow to be a fair size..so do leopards.

it depends how big..you want it to grow..and if you want a big space for the tortoise to live in..and what type of care if your up for a challenge or not!!
