My sister and I have started work on our Website. It is not finished yet, and there are no offspring going to be available until next season...but it is a start. We are now officially TLC Reptiles.
I have new arrivals that I did post pics of. They are all doing well.
I had to do one of the hardest things in my life a week ago. My beautiful Orange Texas Rat...had never eaten since I aquired her...She regurged everything from mice to pinks to baby food...She was displaying very serious symptoms...Vets around here do not handle reptiles. The one who is supposed to gave me this response. Me: Does the Doctor do a test for Crypto? Ans: What is that? Me: Cryptosporidiosis in snakes. Ans: I don't Know...well so much for that.
I had to consider my other 38 Babies and there health..So I had to look her in the eye..tell her I am sorry... and place her in a bag to have her put down. I am still teary eyed now as I am writing this.
I doctored her since May ...admin. medication as well as special food...Oh well, for the good of the many I guess.
