Well, I figured out how to fix the problem. Here are the pictures of my two Columbians, they are both 04's. I have approx. 60 corns and love them but wanted to get Columbians for a while now so when I saw these at the local pet shop in with a few others, I couldn't resist.

I love the female's vibrant tail and the male's light coloration. Gorgeous boas you've got there. :D

Thanks.
Yeah, the male has me stumped on what he is going to turn out looking like. Guess I am just going to have to enjoy watching and seeing as he matures.
I really like your male gardenmum..very eye catching..love the clean look..=P

Sorry gardenmum...but I had to laugh when I read the part about having over 60 corns. Now kenster is going to have someone else to pick on...
Ken - I want you to know that, if I remember correctly, gardenmum has had her snakes for an even shorter amount of time than I have :o) As a matter of fact, I think I am partially responsible for her addiction.
gardenmum, please refresh my memory as to when you bought those first three corns of yours! Oh and I LOVE these boas of yours! I can't wait until I have more room so I can get me one!

debz,
Thanks for the compliments. Yes, he is very clean and light, that was what first caught my attention. I thought he was an anery when I saw only the front of him but then when I saw all of him I realized he wasn't. Not sure what "color" to call him. I mean, I know he is a normal Columbian not a morph, but his color is so cool. AND of course, if you get a boy, you might as well get a girl....lol. So, she being a circle back with a partial stripe tail and with nice pinks coming through, I decided she had to come home with me too (luckily she was a girl and not another boy since the other two were just average looking).
Terri,
First of all, you can call me by my name and not Gardenmum if you prefer...lol. Sooooo, you're laughing at the amount of corns I have, hey? Don't like to be picked on alone? LOL...LOL. What is the saying.....missery loves company...lol.
Ok.. enough razzing. To answer your question, I got my first corns from PetCo (3 of them) in October of 2002. Got my next one from you, that was my first "purchase over the net" experience. And it has been all downhill from there...lol. But my first non-corns were a pair of subocs from Don S. and these two boas, both gotten about the same time. Oh...and I do have two Geckos also.
Yep, when you can get a Columbian boa you're going to love them. They are so neat and calm.

Dianne,
I wasn't sure if you wanted your real name posted. I was trying to keep you anonymous 8)
I thought you got your first corns after I got my first snakes (Feb 2002). I just couldn't remember exactly when. I did know that the ones you got from me were your second purchase, though. We both got the corn bug fast, huh? Sometimes I think it is a good thing that my space here is limited. I would probably have more than 48 snakes (not counting babies) if I had more room.

Terri, Oh I can't believe that you think I would pick on you  well ok just a little. Now you have me thinking, if I remember correctly I bought my first snake a BP in the summer of 02. Then in fall I got one from Serpwidgets and one from Kevin M. Then it was all down hill from there. 3 turned into 20, and 20 turned into 50. Not to mention me having like 30 of Simon's snakes at my plce as well for a few months. I think the most I ever had counting Simons was just about 100. It took such a long time to feed/water/clean. Now I am back down to around 35 not counting the babies. Speaking of wich 4 have had 2 FT meals and shed already so they should be up for sale next week. 3 more have had one meal, so two more to go. Now just to get the last two to eat and I'll be happy  Then comes the tough task of picking a hold back for myself.

WOW Ken! No wonder you were picking on me...I reminded you of yourself!!! I never would have guessed that you got your first snake in 2002! It all makes sense now :D
It definitely takes a long time to get everyone cleaned, fed, etc. Sometimes I don't see how Alex and the other "big" breeders do it. I try really hard to keep my numbers around 50, except for during baby season.
I have around 30 babies that are looking for new homes, by the way. *Hint*Hint* Just in case anyone is interested!

I think there's a 12-step meeting on Tuesdays at six, either in Flint or Jackson or Kalamazoo. Just trying to help, as always

well I was going to make a smart remark about 12 steps and snakes not having feet but I'll leave that one alone. allthough after cleaning that many enclosures and feeding that many animals I could see the need for a beer.
see ya tuesday at six,

Those are nice. Welcome to the world of keeping boas. They are definitely as addicting as corns if not more.

LOL...Oh, Ken, you really have it soooooo bad. That would be like going to an AA meeting with a six pack....lol. So, wonder how many you are going to have by next year this time?????
robertmcphee, Yeah, I can see where they could become addictive but considering their size and my space restrictions, one more is all I will be able to have. And that one I hope to be a female salmon or hypo salmon. Some day in the future. Can put a lot of corns in the space of one Columbian.
