It ain't no big block but it is a runner. I suppose built the way I got it I might keep up with a moderate 427.

One thing nice about Chevy's is you can really build a small block up. A 327 is a good powerful small block. Just as the workhorse 350 is.
The 427 is a legend in its time. Now you have 502's and up.
I would love to have a 427 for my Monte 8)
The 327's in the Chevelles were nothing to sneeze at. :D

My dream car? A '68 or '69 Road Runner, but I wouldn't turn down a Chevy small block built right.

I got my 327 in a "66 chevy longbed 3/4 ton. It came out of a "66 Malibu, had 27000 miles on block. From factory it had a steel crank and 11.25/1 compression. Started with the block, crank and a set of rods. All else is new. 12.5 high dome trw's with the 68 cc heads should give me about 11/1 compression. chevy blueprint .30/.30 cam 495 lift 312 duration solid lifter cam. Motor runs great just the truck is so heavy
