I was having trouble getting my little male hognose to eat. I put the question on the hognose forum and some one told me to get a can of chunk light tuna in water. Drain the water and use it to "dip " the thawed pinkies in it. He loved it so much he took the pinkie right from my finger and started to eat in the palm of my hand. Soo Cool.. He is So sweet.
I set him down and he finished eating no problem.
I really love that little guy.

I've heard of using chicken broth before, but not tuna! I'm glad it worked for you!

Would that work for all snakes or just hoggies? :?:

Jen I think this worked on the Hogs because in the wild sometimes babies eat fish, toads,& eggs. If you are thinking of trying it on Spoon. I do not know if fish would be a food for BP's....but chicken broth might entice him.
Can't hurt to try. :D
