Hey everyone,

I am new to the site (been lurking for a while) and was wondering what kind of demand there is for BRBs from the readers here? I have a beautiful pair of red BRBs that I will be breeding next season and am curious how much interest there may be in them. I would like to find great homes for them and thought that a reptile forum would be the best place to do so.

Oh, the year after I will also have high yellow JCPs!

Here are a few pics of my BRBs

Those first four are the male, and here is the female:

I think that they are beautiful, and can't wait to breed them! I will start a thread in the python forum with the JCPs!

Lemme know what you think of these and if you think that I would be able to find good homes for their babies!

Thanks,
Brent

Brent,
I think you will have no problem finding homes for hatchlings from such impressive snakes. 8) The photographic work is excellent as well. What kind of camera are you using? Special lenses? Lighting?

Thank you! I took those photos with a Fuji Finepix 3800. No special lenses, just the macro feature. Regular flash too, these are just beautiful snakes. I don't even touch them with photoshop. The 'black' silhouette one was an accident as the flash didn't go off, but I think that it turned out really good!

Nice snakes! We breed BRB's also trust me there is no problem getting rid of them at all..Every year we have people calling wanting and waiting for them. The better the color and quality of them the more people will want them..Best of luck to you.

WOW!! Those snakes are super :D
The silouette against the window is a great shot.
They are extraodinarily ORANGE and the rainbow effect is stunning!
I can see why you would be excited to breed them.

WOW!

Sorry, new to herpetology, what does BRB stand for? *feels dumb*

I am floored by the coloration on those beauties. The orange and black with the rainbow irredescent shimmer is stunning. If my roommate allowed me to have more than 2 species, I would DEFINITELY be asking to get one of those. :D

BRB is short for Brazilian Rainbow Boa (epicrates cenchria cenchria). They are a beautiful snake and I am so glad that I decided to get them! I also can't wait to see if they breed this upcoming season!
