Anyone know anything about them?
I saw one on craigslist from a guy who inquired about a tank im selling and was curious what they are like.
i dont think i want one, i did mention to him that they are rear fanged and he should mention that in the ad he made.
Are they normally like a mean snake? like a display only kind of snake?
or are they sort of handle able?
like i said, i doubt i want one, im just curious because it seems like a cool snake lol.

I've never owned them but messed with a few that friends have had. They are generally very docile tempered in my experience. My friend had 7 and all were pretty friendly and easily handleable. That said they're very sensitive and shy, so they hate being handled. I would put it this way, don't handle them out of fear from being bitten, avoid handling them out of fear of overs-tressing and causing illness or loss of appetite. So display only snake. Not to mention they're a pain because it's nearly impossible to convert them to pinks and they usually only eat lizards.
They are very cool though.

Yeah, i figured they would be tough guys with the conversion thing, so thats why i figured it was a no go anyway... lol
Thanks :)

well, most of the people that keep them live in florida, same with most of the breeders. you guys seem to have an abundant invasive food source scurrying about.
