Hey guys I took out my king snake and I was observing that in the neck area theres like a scare or something. It may look infected but I don't think so because theres not puss coming out. It looks like its swollen but then again I remember he been like that when he came except for the scare. Heres some pictures to see if you guys have any idea.

last time he eat was almost 2 weeks ago and it was a FT mice.

Doesn't look like anything to worry about. Seems to be a scale that got damaged and now that he's going into shed it's coming loose from the inside out. Normal stuff.

When he sheds it should disappear.

Hey Bas, my guy went 3 or 4 weeks off of food when he shed. He went off of food long before I could even tell he was in blue

He just shed like 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Maybe he tore a scale off trying to find a way out his enclosure. When my BRB managed to get out (long time ago but still relevant), she had to get under a lid with 20 lbs worth of crap piled on it (which she managed to do) and afterward I had noticed she jacked a couple of her scales up squishing through there. It took a few sheds before those scales went back to normal.
