At the pre tinley party Jeff and I were talking about the kingsnake and how good she eats here and he wanted a pic of her eating. Yeah I'm sure I'll get some bad comments but for me I do not have time to force feed something that will not eat and I will not let it starve to death..

The MBK was in the process of shedding when I tossed the BP in there. Once she was done she decided to eat. You mean you have to clean cages??

I always thought breeders kept kings to take care of the nonfeeders anyway.:eusa_think:

It IS sad for the BP... It IS also reality... Nobody ever said life was a big bowl of peaches and cream either...
Nice looking kingsnake (I can ID it correctly since you already said what it was~ LOL).

Good job getting the MBK to eat. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. At least this was you got one of the two to eat.

I'm not sure, but judging by the size of the MBK, I don't think eating was the issue with it...I think it was the unfortunate BP that refused to eat and therefore it became a food item for the MBK.

BINGO! The MBK she eats anything from live to FT and sometimes fingers but she loves this time of year when she gets to eat all the non feeder snakes. She eats corns, milks, hoggies, BP's and so on.
