I saw a feeding vid on one of these. They look pretty cool but I read that they are really aggresive. I really plan on getting any but was curious about them. And I was wondering if anyone here keeps these.

i have a reverse trio of them . i think harold has some as well .
the 2 males i have are both nippy , but i have not really handled them very much either . the female whom i got in a trade , is fairly easy going . she does have her moods though .
i know people that do keep them and handle them more frequently than i am able to , and they say theirs are very easy going .
still great little snakes in my book .

OOooooooo, nice boas!
Ever see the Isabelle Island strain? They are smokin hot!! Very washed out white pattern on white! I almost picked up a pair till I found out what a royal pain in the a$$ it is to get the babies trained on mice.

I don't care how pissy they can be I just love the size....when you have 300 babies to satisfy all the orders give me a call because I really want a trio one day....

the isabella strain is nice , i have a friend that is working with them .
they can be a pain to get eating , but usually you get about half the litter to take mice right off . the other half of the litter isnt quite so easy .

i'll definately keep you on the list . i'm hoping to be able to breed them this season .

Is that the pair Randy was selling in Omaha, that you were having him bring over and tempt ME into buying? Didn't know YOU were interested in buying them..

Yes. I wasn't interested...just thought they were VERY nice looking! Doesn't mean I want to buy every hot smokin snake I see. Well, not EVERY one of them...LOL!

Geesh! Make up your mind. All I know is that the two of you (Scott and Randy) were presenting a united front to coerce me into buying those beautiful boas. Good thing I have some will power! - and believe me it was hard! Randy kept dropping the price and saying "only for you" when it was bargain basement low....

you should have gotten them . long story coming.
the paulsonis are one of my favorite species . i've been working with them for 2 years now . i started with 4 hatchling isabella's , which all ended up being male , go figure . i traded 2 of them for 2 unsexed kind of greyish looking hatchlings we had just got in at the petshop , both ended up being male . i was getting frustrated , and was starting to wonder if i'd ever find a female .
at about this time , the guy i got the original 4 from lost his male(sudden death) and since i still was paying him for the snakes(still owed him for one) i gave him back one of the isabella's leaving me one and 2 grey males .
i met the guy that produced the grey babies , and started talking to him about them , and it turned out that he had 5 females , but only one male . paulsonis breed best with revers trios , so he was very interested in the isabella i had , and was willing to trade me a female even up for him .
i made the trade , and ended up with an adult proven breeder female for my 6 month old male . so now i have 2 males , both 2 years old , and a female that is about 7 years old . i worked hard to get these animals , and they were worth every second of time i put into them .
yeah some of them can be a pain to get started on rodents , but once they sart on them , they never look back . out of the 6 hatchlings i had go thru here , all of them were on mice by 3 month old .
definately a worth while animal to get into imho . if you have a chance to get some , i'd jump on it if i was you .

Yes, it was tough to make up my mind! I was interested, but talked myself out of it. Yeah, I was kinda hoping you'd pick them up...LOL!
