Scott needed to clean out the Surinam RTB's container. He decided he wanted to eat. Snapped fast and let go, darn, no pics of him holding on, but I did snap pics of the result. Scott is bruising up as I type this.
couple pics of the Surinam

Have to say, Scott was a good sport. I told him to wait until I ran upstairs for my camera, before he cleaned his hand off.

Yeah, I tried to tell him that it wasn't feeding day, but being an import, he doesn't understand English very well...lol. It was a very quick strike and release, but man, he had some force behind it! It's brused up pretty good right now.

Kinda funny, the teeth marks left a perfect smiley face...LOL.

That boy has a HUGE feeding response. When he has his rat, he squeezes so hard that the rat has practically exploded open....yuck - in a nice, just cleaned tub, too.:eusa_naughty::eusa_naughty:

Sara, if yours are Columbian's, they won't get nearly as big as this one will. The bite is fast and he never hangs on, so it's more like getting pin-pricked. I think the bruise from the force of the attack hurts more.

Seems like they're really good at hitting big veins, too, which really makes for a dramatic bruising effect!

IDK~ to me it's been more shocking than anything. Never really hurt at all, just bled a lot underneath the skin. I have a few tooth mark scars but they aren't in the shape of a smiley face!

After I get my Blood, maybe I'll be feeling differently about that...

Yeah, it never really hurts that bad unless they get a tender spot, hang on, and chew!! Then it hurts...lol!

Yep, I've heard stories about bloods. Kare has a pair, but I never really see her handling them much. Hmmmm, I wonder why....LOL?
