Since I've increased my snakey residents so much, recently ...I decided to try my hand at breeding their food. I can control what quality food they get and so on ..and my snakes will be healthier for it! Plus, the little boogers are CUTE!! :D

I see the hoppers getting right through those bars...they are crazy little ones that get through everything bigger than their heads....lol

Oh okay.. I thought that's what you meant, but wasn't certain. I have 1/4" hardware cloth here ...and I have really deep rubber maids that have hardware cloth in the lids already.. I can transfer them over before any escapes.

They were born last night or some time today.. Satellite was still FAT yesterday ...and they're already moving around quite a bit. I keep having to put them back in the nest cuz Mommy is running a marathon on the wheelie and not paying attention to her kidlets :wacko:

I guess I'll have to start doing the rats soon, too ...Gordo has recently graduated to smalls (from adult mice). He's doing really well and only has one noticeable scar left from the cigarette burns. He struck at my face today, too. Crazy BP! He's been taking notes from Puck! ..the Leucy.. I guess :p

The boy got scared in the garage and I went to get him... he hopped off the roost and sat on my shoulder, so he could calm down. He's a Momma's boy! Next thing I knew, he was pecking my cheek ...tried to eat my earring ..and then went after my teeth!! :pound:


Speaking of head bites ...where is Josh? Every time I see that forehead shot from his Boa ..I crack up! :lol:
