Naile is the small one, her name means tall and slender...

First - Mira
im going to try and get a general weight on her later today... when mom comes back tho that way she can help me... its hard getting her out of the cage cause i have to lift her... i wish i had the money for a boaphile cage for her.... sliding her out would be so much easier... lol

Nice pics....later when someone is around see if you can get a pic of the big ones head from the underside looking up....the head looks a little swollen, you can see what looks like an overbite in the pic...it may benefit you looking in the other ones mouth and then looking in the mouth of the big one too...

Color is from snake to snake...different normally...

As far as narrowing down exactly what they are I would guess they are probably mutt's....

Now wait for the big one to shed after a few big meals and get some more outside pics for comparison, you will probably be shocked at the difference....

i will try later, last night the small one yawned and her mouth looked fine.
i plan on getting some rats later today any way so i'll prolly pick their food up as well, and wait for her to yawn... i dont like the idea of trying to get a big snake like her to open her mouth... i wouldnt be able to... :)

what do you mean by overbite?
it could possibly be the lense i used... it makes some things look funny, but i'll get a shot any way.

oh, and if you look at the head shot of the big girl, on top of her nose, is that possibly nose rub? the tank has two doors on the top that have the mettal screen stuff... name of it left me all of the sudden... so im thinkin she might have rubbed... but im not sure... :)

They look good to me! The small one looks like a variety of Boa Constrictor Imperitor, which is the most common boas that you will see. The larger one looks to have some Sonoran pattern going on but its odd to see them or the Central Americans get that big but it does happen.

Very nice boas! I like the light clean pattern on the smaller one! Have you sexed them yet? I'd venture a guess that the bigger one is a female just by size alone..lol! I'd also guess that they are some type of BCI by the looks of the tails.

Great find!!

Your girls are beautiful! Their pleasant disposition shows in their faces!

They look a lot like my Columbian Red Tail, which is about as common as they get (although she herself is unique and beautiful in her own snakey little way!). She has darkened up considerably over the years (13 this year)~ I've had her since she was literally just larger than the size of a pencil. Pre-shed she goes extremely dark.
