View Full Version : Phoenix Worm Questions
I bought a small sampling of phoenix worms and found out many of my legged critters love them. So the questions are; If I buy a thousand or so, how long will they last, since most sites say you don't have to feed them? Will they morph into flies, soon? I definitely don't want to have flies all over.

Takes a while for them to morph over into flies care.Right around 5 months or so.
There not hard to breed either they just stink!
Thanks Jeremy! I don't want to culture them....I'm fine with buying what I need! So are you still selling or do you need them all for your beardies?:dance:

I've had the same experience with them... it took forever for them to morph and then it was only a couple that were accidentally left in the cup.
Jeremy, I thought the guy from Tifton wasn't shipping mixed genders ..and that made it near impossible to breed or culture them on your own? Is that not the case? DIY would save me a lot of cash ..everyone here likes 'em!
Oh.. and Kare.. there's a site to buy them in bulk with shipping included ...reasonable prices, too. (Well.. before this last fuel duel) I think it's this one (http://www.phoenixworm.com), actually.

Yup, that's the one I'm looking at. Probably be ordering 1000 on Tuesday. Much cheaper than the other sites. Plus the shipping issue. Thanks, Aminah.
