So I cleaned the mice today, and snapped a few pics of the babies from one of the colonies.

Here you can see some worried parents....

I had a vision of you with a spray bottle and a toothbrush bathing mice.

They are cute. Dana would like another rat but has to wait till her dog is gone. It's a very labor intensive dog and Mom gets to do most of the labor. I'm sure all us Moms know how that goes.

So, you take all of the litters and put them all together? This doesn't create problems? I figured you'd have to separate litters so the parents wouldn't go off and kill babies from other parents or they'd get all paranoid and eat the babies or something.

Nevermind~ I caught the answer to this question in the genetics thread! Thanks for that, by the way.

I figured you'd have to separate litters so the parents wouldn't go off and kill babies from other parents or they'd get all paranoid and eat the babies or something.Typically if you have a colony of 1 male and several females, the females kind of all take care of all the babies. If you have 2 or more males in the colony, then you can run into some problems.

Very pretty Mice, Jenea!
