Alex - it might be better to set the max photo size at 800 x 600, rather than 600 x 800. Most photos posted are of a 4:3 aspect ratio, rather than 3:4....

I would tend to agree...but, this forum is currently set up at 650 wide...anything wider would stretch out the layout...although the stretch would only apply to that specific post, its kinda "messy" looking. Another issue that is also taken into account is not every member/guest has they're screen resolutions set at 1024 x 768...anything smaller than this will get really distorted.

I'm working on a program that will automatically resize any images larger than 600 wide. I'll hopefully get some time to finish up on it here in the next day or so.

cool, I was going to say there all kinds of php add ins for things like this and pretty easy to paste in.
