how would i go about organizing a show in my area?

i have looked around and the closest show to my area that i can find is in richmond va . i live in virginia beach and even though its only about a 2 hour drive i'd like to see a show come together closer to home . if anyone has any insights into this it would be greatly apreciated .

The best thing to do is check with your local herp society and plan a show in co-operation with them......they probably already have a list of vendors and people that would be interested in doing a show in your area.
