I was wondering how people who have several stackable snake cages AND cats manage this. I will eventually have three of the Boahphile 421D cages. I would like to stack them, but I have 4 cats. These cages are very lightweight, weighing about 24 pounds each. A couple of my cats are big and weigh almost 20 pounds each. If three cages are stacked, how do you keep them from moving, or even worse getting knocked over? I plan on having the three cages stacked against a wall in the corner on top of a table that is 22" tall. Do you think it would work If I put strips of velcro in a couple of places between the cages? I is next to impossible to keep my cats out of the room the snakes are in. They usually don't pay any attention to them, but on the chance they would jump on top of the cage, I want the cage to stay put and not move. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have a big fat cat who loves to jump on my cages every so often. My our lighter then then your and we have no problem with him knocking them over. Once you put your substrate, water, snake, and whatever else the cages become heavier. I don't think you will have a problem with it.

Yeah Jen is right once you add all the other stuff.....like for water bowls I use big stoneware bowls that are big enough for the snakes to get in if they want to and clean them daily....so for my 6ft boa...she has a huge bowl mor like a stoneware ovan baking dish that is a few pounds on its own then you add the water....and the snake lol and my 2 full grown female BP's are almost as big as the boa...the are 4 1/2-5ft but VERY fat girls....but they also each have those big round ceramic dog bowls..the ones made for LARGE dogs....so they are VERY weighty. I do not have a stack system for mine as of yet but I do have some big cats too but I wouldnt be concerned for mine, being in the same position.
