Here is a pic of my new Boaphile on top of the other Boaphile I have.

The first one I bought is black because I like black. The new one is grey because you can see INSIDE to clean or locate the snake without using a flashlight  (You can see inside now because of the flash.)

The lock is different on the new one. It is nice that the new one has 2 latches with the lock in the middle. Using the two locks to close the black one is a bit of a hassle when Bob doesn't want to STAY inside.

I order my cages with 1x heat and the locks (locks because I have kids).

And yes, I keep crickets on top of the snakes. I cleaned it off somewhat for the pics. You can't put heavy things on a Boaphile, but there are a lot of snake/gecko related things on top of my cages and racks as well as the modem and router. It is absolutely amazing how much STUFF you can stick in one room.......

I got a Boaphile last November, then started buying racks from Casey because they hold more snakes and save a lot on heating cost. I have 3 snake shacks now. I am buying a BCC so I needed a larger cage and got the new Boaphile. WITH the locks and heat it only came to $234 shipped. I am going to end up needing one for each boa eventually....and right now I only have 1 more boa. I'm thinking about a boa Casey has though. Thinking really hard about it.

I really recommend Caseys racks! I have three of them currently and they are holding a total of 13 snakes! Granted, when the baby corns get larger they'll have to be separated but the BPs, corns and small boas fit very well!

Casey will bring them to the Valparaiso show for you too if you wish to save on shipping costs. You also get a discount if you buy three at a time.

If I sound like a salesperson for Natures Spirit it's just that I REALLY like the Hulses and their animals and racks. I have seen the incubators and racks in the building stage and the finished products. I've talked to a lot of people who do business with Natures Spirit and so far I haven't heard any complaints!

SO, if you have a BIG snake either buy Boaphile (or some similar product) or build a cage yourself, but I recommend Natures Spirit Snake Shacks for all of your smaller snakes. It's also nice to put 6 snakes into a rack that only need ONE plug!
